1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and DocuTect AI ("Company," "we," or "us"). By accessing, browsing, or using DocuTect AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Use License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purposes. You agree not to:
- • Reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content from the Service
- • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- • Use the Service to develop competing products or services
3. User Responsibilities

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Your input to the Service (e.g., APIs, documentation you audit) remains your property. However, you grant us a license to use your input solely to provide and improve the Service.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCUTECT AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months (or $100, whichever is greater).
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in California.
8. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you violate any provision of these Terms or if we determine that such termination is necessary to protect our Service or users.
